Another Day Closer to Home

Janet slept well last night but has been much weaker and more agitated today. She said today that she doesn't know how to die and she seems a bit fearful of the process. She knows her final destination but the last steps of the way are uncharted territory. Pray that she will experience God's presence and His peace as she ventures into the unknown. Pray, too, for those who are caring for her, as it has been a difficult day. We haven't been through what Janet is facing but we can keep pointing her to the One who has, Jesus Christ!
Here are some photos of yesterday.... (Deb)

  1. Im so glad to see you keeping up with your dancing and singing. You have been such an inspiration to me. Your strength is amazing! And your constant recognition of who's in control even through the worst times, has helped me to have more peace with your fight with cancer. I let my mom read this blog and she couldn't believe the joy you have just knowing you are going home to be with our God. She is not saved and has lost her entire family to different types of cancers and she misses them so much. Thank you because maybe this will be that open door for her to get saved.
I'm sorry for your pain and suffering, but thank you for blogging through your battle. My mom may just get saved through this.
Love you Aunt Janet and miss you!

  2. Hi Janet, so glad to see you enjoying dancing and still enjoying sitting in Grandad's rocking chair. We are praying for you all of your friends as they care for you.

  3. You are still in my prayers aunt Janet. I wrote the first message about my mom. This has been truly sad but at the same time gives me such peace knowing how our Lord just overlooks all your care and helps with your pain.
We went to Matthews graduation yesterday in Maryland and there were so many memories and pictures shared and it helped us to laugh at the limited times we have shared together.
Praying for you as always! I hope your hospital stay is short and you can go home to the comfort of your own home. Love you!

Love Paula, Chad, Joel and Hailey

  4. What great pictures! Janet's smile can light up a room! A big "thank you" to Janet's caregivers for writing this blog and posting pictures so that those of us in the US can stay informed on Janet. Thoughts and prayers with you all! Love, Heather Miller
